Creative Arts
Being part of a large Prep School has the major advantage of a host of specialist subject teachers.
Our Lower School pupils benefit from the expertise of these teachers for their Music and Art lessons along with a weekly Design Technology lesson which is taught from Year 3. The pupils have access to our purpose-built Arts block and Lower School Art room.
Our children love to perform and we love to watch them! Regular opportunities are provided throughout the school year for stage performances for all our Lower School pupils. These include class assemblies, informal concerts and year group ‘Showcases’ enabling even our youngest to become accustomed to the limelight of the stage.
We have a growing number of instrumentalists and we encourage all pupils to sing, and from this we reap the rewards of a healthy and enthusiastic Lower School orchestra and choir. All are welcome!
