Being Creative
Creative play is an integral part of child development and through playing both indoors and outside children can develop greater physical, social, sensory, language, mathematical and scientific skills.
We believe in offering range of creative activities both indoors and outdoors, including messy play, sand and water play, arts and crafts. Our pupils love being outside and have many opportunities for Being Active and Being ‘Us’!
Performing Arts, music, and technology are important parts of life in Pegasus Early Years. Children have class music lessons with a specialist teacher each week and performances in our School Hall are wonderful opportunities for creating confidence and building emotional resilience in our younger children. Basic computer skills are taught in our ICT Suite to Reception children by a specialist teacher and pupils experience using the interactive screens, desktop computers and iPads.
