Our teaching staff fully invest in ensuring that every child in their care strives for greatness and achieves his or her best in all areas of school life.
As a British Curriculum School, our teaching is entirely in line with modern British Prep Schools in the UK. Whilst in-depth subject knowledge is important, so are thinking skills, creativity and enquiry-based learning. So through a pupil’s career at The Banda, the core academic subjects have been finely balanced with project work, investigation, and wider reading taking pupils beyond the confines of the curriculum.
It is a testament to the experienced and qualified teaching staff as well as the work ethic of our highly motivated pupils that we continually achieve such great success at Common Entrance. 2022’s Year 8 cohort gained 96% A* – C grades in their final Common Entrance Exams, with all gaining entry to their first choice of Secondary School and 19 Scholarships were achieved to schools within Kenya and in the UK.
