The Journey Begins
The Pegasus Early Years journey begins with our Rising Stars – our pupils under two – before moving on to Nursery and Reception classes. Our dedicated and fully qualified staff have a firm belief that the happy child succeeds.
During the Early Years your child’s education is not just about the sharing of knowledge in a classroom setting. It is as much about providing opportunities for play, self-exploration, discovering the world – as well as providing them with a safe and spacious environment. The Early Years Foundation Stage Development Curriculum forms the basis of all our teaching.
For our Rising Stars, morning sessions are available. Our Nursery accommodates children up to 4 years of age allowing for child-initiated and teacher-led activities. In their final year of Pegasus Early Years the children in Reception are prepared for a seamless transition into the Lower School at the age of 5.
Situated within our extensive grounds, Pegasus Early Years is set in a beautiful garden providing a unique opportunity for outdoor learning. From Nursery, your child will be taught by subject specialists in Music, Sport and Computing and will have full use of the facilities within the main school.
