Year 7 Trip to Malewa 2017

Year 7 spent the beginning of the week at Malewa Bush Ventures on their last Geography trip of the year. This is a very important trip as they collect the river data for their Geography Common Entrance project which accounts for 20% of their overall mark at Common Entrance.

This year they found the river to be very low and the result was quite different from years past. However, the children were still able to collect the data required for their project. They also managed to start some of the write up of the investigation setting out the hypotheses and methods of data collection.

They also managed to find time to carry out revision in preparation for next week’s exams and reward ourselves with some free time in the river! The pupils showed levels of maturity and effort throughout the trip. Well done, Year 7!
