For September 2010 The Banda, an IAPS school (1 - 13 years) with small classes of friendly and motivated pupils, invites applications for the post below. Over the past three years The Banda has experienced very few staff changes and next year some are going on to Headship or are "spreading their wings". The school has an enviable reputation for academic, cultural and sporting excellence. The premises are purpose built on a beautiful 30 acre site located adjacent to the Nairobi Game Park.

The Banda is a happy, busy, vibrant and lively school where colleagues enthusiastically enjoy providing an exciting education both in and via extra-curricular opportunities. We are particularly keen to appoint staff who have an ability to coach major team sports.

A good remuneration package is offered based on the School's own salary scheme which includes return air fare, pension, baggage allowance, health cover and accommodation. The initial contract is for two years, renewable annually.

TEACHER OF SCIENCE AND MATHS (YEARS 5 - 8)
An energetic teacher with enthusiasm, versatility and a passion for teaching Science and Maths is required to join one of these well established departments.

YEAR 2 OR 3 CLASS TEACHER
An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic, well-qualified and caring KS1 or 2 teacher to join our Junior Department (Years 2 - 4). Candidates will be required to co-ordinate and teach most of the curriculum subjects; we have specialist support for ICT, Music, P.E. and Games.
