The Banda boasts an outstanding range of facilities.  The purpose-built buildings are spacious and well-equipped. These include a central Assembly Hall, which is equipped as a music and drama theatre, with full lighting and sound system.  Specialist academic rooms are provided for Mathematics, English, Science (two laboratories), French, History and Geography.  The Arts Centre houses Design and Technology, Art and two Music rooms.  Two Information Communications Technology rooms cater for the junior and senior school pupils and there are two comprehensively stocked Junior and Senior libraries.

The twenty acre playing fields allow children great freedom for recreational pursuits.  Within this extensive area there is an athletic track, four rugby, six hockey, eight netball, four cricket and two glass-backed squash courts and three all weather tennis courts.  The Banda has a 25 metre swimming pool with three diving boards.

The full time medical centre is staffed by a qualified nurse.

Transport is available for all children and is particularly convenient for those living in and around Karen/Langata, Lavington, Westlands and Muthaiga.
