Pegasus Boarding House
Pegasus is The Banda’s Weekly
Boarding House. It was purpose built in the heart of the school grounds
and designed along the lines of a family home with bedrooms
for four or five children and accommodates up to 25 girls
and boys in two separate wings.
The house is completely self-sufficient – meals are cooked in–house for example – meaning that Pegasus really can be a home from home for your children during the school week.
The Boarding House is staffed by a resident teacher
and supported by an additional eight teachers who provide the children with pastoral care and support at all times.
Weekly Boarders arrive at school on a
Monday morning and depart for the weekend on Fridays from
2.45 p.m. They have the best of both worlds by spending four
days at school with their friends and three nights at home
with the family.

Mission Statement: Pegasus Boarding House
“Boarding offers stimulation and security, friendship and independence. By weekly boarding at The Banda, children can benefit from all of these without damaging the essential certainty that children need - the sense that they belong, most truly and centrally to their own family”.
