FEES SEPTEMBER TERM 2009

School Fees with effect from September 2009:

Pegasus Pre-Prep

Crèche ( - 2 years)                         Shs.  36,000/= per term                         

Nursery 1 (2 - 3 years)                   Shs.  90,000/= per term for full day

                                                    Shs.  72,000/= per term for mornings only including lunch

                                                    Shs.  48,000/= per term for 3 mornings only including lunch

Nursery 2 (3 - 4 years)                   Shs.  99,500/= per term for full day

                                                    Shs.  82,500/= per term for mornings only including lunch             

Reception (4 - 5 years)                   Shs.108,000/= per term                                     

Year One (5 - 6 years)                    Shs. 121,500/= per term

Shs.5,500/= per afternoon activity will be charged for those on a morning rate only.                        

 Junior and Senior School

Year Two (6 - 7 years)                             Shs.  270,000/= per term

Year Three - Eight (7 - 13 years)              Shs.  295,000/= per term

Weekly Boarding Fees                              Shs.  80,000/= per term

Flexi Boarding Fees                                 Shs.    2,500/= per night (no increase)

 There is a reduction of 10% of the basic fee for the second and subsequent children attending School at the same time provided all children are in Year 2 and above.  Please note that there is no sibling reduction for children below Year 2.

 These fees include all text books, stationery, science equipment, art and handicraft materials, games and class swimming, morning break and midday lunch.

 Registration Fee:

Kshs.1,000/- on submission of the Pegasus Pre-Prep Application Form and Kshs.2,000/- on submission of the Application Form for Year 2 to Year 8.  This fee is not refundable.

 Entry Fee:

When a definite place has been offered an entry fee of Shs. 6,000/- is due.  This fee is not refundable.

Transport:             School Bus       Shs. 29,500/- a term (Shs.14,750/- single journey)

 Optional Extras:     Tennis / Ballet / Squash / Speech & Drama / Pottery / Modern Dance  Taekwondo & Swimming.  Costs for these are available on request. In addition to the above we have a variety of activities that happen on a Friday Afternoon.

Private Coaching:

Coaching in individual subjects can be arranged with the approval of the Headmaster, but fees for this are a personal matter between the parent and the member of the teaching staff concerned.

Payment of Fees:

All fees must be paid in advance.  No remission of school fees is made in cases of illness, quarantine, leave or part of the term or for any cause whatsoever.  Parents who withdraw their children for leave or any reason during the term are liable for the full term's fees.  One term's notice must be given for the removal of a child or one term's fees in lieu of notice.
