Week 1 Newsletter

"At the end of the first week back at school, I am pleased to see both children and staff happy and settled. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Daubney, Mrs Sweetnam and Mr Wilson for organising and leading a very successful ski trip to Italy in December. We were delighted to welcome Clare Schmidt from King’s School, Taunton. Clare ran excellent art workshops for some of the Year 7 and 8 pupils during her time here."

Week 2 Newsletter

"Last weekend’s Orchestral Weekend at St. Andrew’s, Turi was a tremendous success. The weekend culminated in a concert on the Saturday night when an orchestra of 200 performed. This orchestra was made up of pupils from several schools. Last Sunday The Banda’s equestrian team were also in action at the Pembroke inter-school Riding Competition. There were some excellent individual and team performances from our riders."

Week 3 Newsletter

"Yesterday’s Verse Speaking final was a great success. Congratulations to all of the finalists. Performances were of a high standard and Nadia Nora in Year 6 should be congratulated for being the overall winner. Today the school are enjoying their Picnic Day, initiated by the Student Council. This has also provided an opportunity for the children to think about nutrition as they have been challenged to come with a healthy lunch."

Week 4 Newsletter

"I would like to begin by congratulating Amy Grammaticas on gaining an Art Scholarship to Malvern College,UK. Amy was also awarded a Sport Scholarship to Malvern and so this is an excellent achievement."

Week 5 Newsletter

"This week I am delighted to congratulate Akira Thorpe on gaining an All Rounder Scholarship with Dance, to Millfield School, UK. This is an excellent achievement of which Akira should be extremely proud."
