Application for Leave of Absence
Parents have a legal duty to ensure their child’s regular attendance at school.
The Headteacher will consider all requests for absence, taking into account the effect on the continuity of a child’s learning. It must be recognised that taking time out of school can be detrimental to children’s learning as young people often become anxious when they know they are missing vital work. Please ensure the School is informed at least one week in advance of any planned absence.
